Epicurean Pedals is a collection of bicycle&food tours designed by EASYTORINO’s local experts and distributed by Giroola, a young and dynamic tour operator specialising in outdoor and active holidays in Italy.
The trips take place in the Northwest regions where we come from: Piedmont, Lombardy and Liguria. You’ll be cycling through amazing sites like Cinque Terre, Monferrato, Langhe, Lake Maggiore and Lake Como, the Italian Riviera. A land where food and wine is culture, birthplace of the Slow Food movement, home of great wines like Barolo, Barbaresco, Moscato, and glorious food such as Pesto, White Alba’s Truffle, Agnolotti pasta, Risotto.

If you are a travel agent and are interested in reselling our Epicurean Pedals tours, or need support to develop a bicycle trip customized to your wishes, do not hesitate to contact us!

Tours are dedicated to fairly experienced cyclists: you don’t need to be an avid rider since we would keep a slow pace, but you shall feel comfortable in riding long hours across hilly terrains and sometimes through dirt tracks.
Itineraries are designed to showcase sceneries, natural reserves and picturesque places, with stops for photos, visits and wine tastings along the way. Away from motor traffic as much as we can: we prefer a bumpy trail than a busy road!

The price includes a classic touring bicycle with helmet, luggage transport from hotel to hotel, all meals drinks excluded, accommodation in double room with breakfast, visits and tastings, taxes. A volunteer local expert will join and be your tour host for the whole trip, at no cost: he is not a professional guide but a trustworthy companion, long-time cycle tourer, fine connoisseur of the places, culture and oenogastronomy. If you liked it you may leave him a tip.
Upon request we can provide quotations for van support, licensed cycling tour guide, electric-assisted bicycle, trasfer to/from the starting and ending points of the tour, pre-tour and post-tour accommodation.

Always bring some cash and the usual items for an excursion, such as sunglasses, tissues, id card, pocket rain jacket, warm jacket if it’s cold, etcetera: remember your luggages will be transported from hotel to hotel so you would need to wear and bring with you all you need for the day. Regardless the season, just wear comfortable: sporty breathable clothes, sneakers with grip soles and shorts (padded cycling shorts preferred).
We favour cosy accommodation like small family run hotels or farmhouses, and dinner restaurants serving regional cuisine you won’t find anywhere else. Quite often at lunch we will buy food at the market and organize a picnic in the nature, while in other cases we’ll find a cafè or an osteria on the way. Throughout the day we would have the chance to visit growers, fresh food producers and winemakers and get to know their job and delights. Together with panoramic routes, genuine hospitality and authentic local specialties are in fact the hallmarks of EASYTORINO’s tours!

All tours we display are on request, meaning you decide the dates you favour and we’ll make it happen. We can customize the trip to better suite your needs, for instance you can ask for changes in the itinerary or accommodation, add services such as airport transfers. Our tours are very flexible, and we can manage almost any kind of request!

Trips are intended for fairly experienced cycle tourers, they are not indicated for beginners. Tours are labeled as Easy, Intermediate, Demanding. The difference is given by elevation gain, distance and lenght. While Easy tours are suitable for anybody with good cycling skills, Intermediate and Demanding tours feature hilly terrains and require strenght and endurance.

Costs may vary depending on the season and number of participants, therefore the prices shown are based on an average of 6 persons in middle season: the exact cost will be given once you provide the travel details. Additional services not included will be quoted on top.
